Hardwood Architraves in the Colonial Profile are manufactured from a versatile timber commonly used in furniture and decorative projects. Sustainably sourced from Australian suppliers it is variously known as Tasmanian Oak or Victorian Ash, with the botanic name of Eucalyptus Regnans It is pale pink to straw in colour and usually has a fine straight grain. It has a Janka Hardness rating of 4.9.
It is important to note that, especially in the Colonial Profile, different timber mills run slightly different profiles and whilst every effort is made to ensure a consistent profile there may be slight variations. If trying to match an existing one it would be best to bring down a sample to check.
